Video short story

Short stories are a fantastic way to find your genre and practice writing. A few years ago, I achieved my first triumph when one of my short stories secured a spot among the top ten to be published in Russia and featured in a collection about the Moscow underground. Notably, this accomplishment came in a competitive field with just under 500 participants. Since then, I have had about half a dozen successful contest results in both languages, followed by selection for anthologies and prize-winning. What does it give me? Confidence! They keep me going at the start of my journey as an author.

A Beastly Betrail in the anthology The Dragon’s Hoard-2

Out of hundreds of stories on the theme of DRAGON, only a few again were chosen for the US anthology by Wolf Singers Publications. My story, A Beastly Betrail, IS NOT about dragons if you read it carefully. We still live in a world where people do not control much, no matter what you call it. We are at the mercy of greed, stupidity, insecurity and... people who take power and have the right to decide for everyone else.

The Dragon’s Hoard-2 will be released in the first weeks of summer 2024.
