Video short story
Short stories are a fantastic way to find your genre and practice writing. A few years ago, I achieved my first triumph when one of my short stories secured a spot among the top ten to be published in Russia and featured in a collection about the Moscow underground. Notably, this accomplishment came in a competitive field with just under 500 participants. Since then, I have had about half a dozen successful contest results in both languages, followed by selection for anthologies and prize-winning. What does it give me? Confidence! They keep me going at the start of my journey as an author.

2024 Next Generation Short Story AWARDS
Next Generation Indie Book Awards (the largest book awards program in the world for self-published authors and independent publishers) and Independent Book Publishing Professionals Group.
I was very glad to become a finalist in one category and a winner in another. The reward was a copy of the anthology with my story published in it, and the golden medal. I was more rewarded by the fact that there were thousands of participants. Recognition is important to the writer.
